E is for Elvis Impersonators on ABC Wednesday
Here are a few pictures of Elvis impersonators I photographed over the years. Because we had the President's Day holiday on Monday, I totally forgot it was ABC Wednesday already until I started visiting my regular blogs.
Thinking it was only Tuesday, see my extra post below.

I can never figure out why this fascination with Elvis, and it's all over the world, not just in America. why arent there a host of james brown impersonators, for instance? or john lennon lookalikes roaming Vegas. hmmm.
Elvis lives forever....! :) Through all his fan`s.
But did he leave the building? ;)
Deb: I never really gotten into Elvis either, but so many people want to impersonate him. Go figure.
Ida: As far as I know, he did leave the building, but I guess he lives on, as you say, through his fans.
Elvis is alive and living in Las Vegas ... San Francisco ... South Wales!
I loved Elvis (the real one).

What a neat idea to do Elvis! I guess you had to grow up in his age to appreciate him. He was a one of a kind original and I love his music but his movies are disgraceful. lol

There`s been only one Elvis, and he was the King of Rock,And I will allwais be a big fan.The King is dead, long live the King:o)Great E:o)
What a great idea for E! Good ole Elvis...
Ha ha That's hilarious
Can't imagine why anyone would want to be an Elvis impersonator.
Entertaining "E" post.

There are so many of these guys around! They say imitation is the best compliment.

Great ABC post!
Looks like Elvis never died after all. lol
"Elvis has left the building" - or so I have thought.
Thanks everyone for your comments. It appears Elvis is still popular as ever and living around the world. I guess imitation is the best compliment, but no one can be THE original.
Oi, Elivis is still alive!!! Nice E:)
Uhuhu I love it..........in fact when I was on BBC Tees with Edmund the explorer teddy on tuesday I said that Elvis had wanted to stay at Argument Cottage...........I should have said it was an Elvis Impersonator..........Have you seen the 3 ages of Elvis episode of Father Ted (Comedy series)? it is fantastic?
well done
Maria
Your friend Kenny has the sneer down pat! :D I thought there would be more Elvis photos for today, but yours is the only one I've seen so far. :D
Excellent post for a spur-of-the-moment thing! Some good shots.
Leslie: I'm sure Kenny would smile with pride at your comment. He even speaks like him.
Dragonstar: Thanks! But, I can't take all the credit for a last minute post because I try to plan a few days ahead. :)

I don't get it either - I was more of a Beatles fan myself. But your post did make me laugh - a lot. I particularly like your friend Kenny - the Elvis/Star Wars combo is inspired
Nothing like Elvis to brighten your day.
It is amazing that the Elvis's legacy continues, and it is amazing how may want to be him, lol. Thanks for sharing these photos. Anna :)
What a hoot! elvis...this is very good!-
All: Kenny has gotten a niche here although I have yet to hear him sing. If anyone feels like belting out an Elvis song, please go ahead. My favorite is "Suspicious Minds".
