Morning at the Alviso Slough

Time-worned wooden planks and an aging door are all that is left of this Alviso boat dock. For the curious, Alviso is about 43 miles (69 km) southeast of San Francisco.

I was going to same the same as Ida! lol. I do enjoy photographing old things, it's like taking a little piece of history home with you. :)

Thanks Ida. Had to drag myself out early in the morning to get that horizon. :)

Chica: Alviso is a good town to get old photos. One of my photography friends also said snapping a picture is capturing a moment in time and in essence, creating history.
