Anyone interested in reviving this restaurant? This boat/restaurant has been for lease as far as I can remember by the marina of Alviso which at one-time claimed to be the "new Chicago of the far West", but the high tides occasionally flooded the town.

I love to eat right on the beach like this place. Sad it is empty. Maybe someone will put a good restaurant in there soon.
Andrea: This place is more like a slough than a beach otherwise it would've be a more popular site.
That's hilarious. Nice capture.
Not as a restaurant, but it would probably make a great art gallery or artist's studio.
Interesting claim...never heard that one before. I guess being flooded would cramp the style.
If you could get it moved to the right spot and serve some good food it would probably be a big hit.
What a neat place, sad that it has been empty for so long.
Someone should buy it and move it to a better location.
Thanks Oswegan: It's a boat without water.
Fenix: That's a great idea. Alviso is a little like a ghost town. Perhaps they can make it into an artist colony.
Photowannabe/Dot/NYCIndividual: Location, location, location! Alviso is normally deserted so it's not a great place to open a restaurant. I bet if they moved the boat to SF, customers will be waiting to get in.
It`s too far away.... Looks charming, though. :)
