Traffic Control

Palo Alto, California's downtown painted their normally mundane traffic control boxes into works of art.

Note: After a few weeks of posting vacation pictures from Germany, I thought I would give you a break and post something different today.

Have a good weekend,
Karen

Now, that is the way to do it - looks much better. Maybe you also feel better when you put the money into it?

I like the idea. I would really like them to put on a photo decal.

Well it certainly makes a much better looking side walk attraction. Great idea for them. I wonder who did the art work?

Really a cute and colourful post box. I would have thought that as an invention to brighten up the area

Thanks everyone for commenting.

Kcalpesh: I rented the Canon 18-200mm lens from http://www.borrowlenses.com/ because I didn't want to carry too many lenses on my trip.

Abe: Photo decal? You mean instead of painting?

Lilli: I couldn't find out who painted it, but I imagine it must've been local artists.

That is so cool. Some talented artists down in Palo Alto.
