Mr. Grinch Out and About

It's always interesting to take photos of people in San Francisco and more so during the holidays. Tourists and holiday shoppers lined the busy downtown streets on Saturday and as I was trying to photograph the large Christmas tree in the background, Mr. Grinch caught my eye.

In the first photo, I think Mr. Grinch just returned from lunch and in the 2nd photo, he was posing for someone else's picture. I guess he's not that mean. :D

Enjoy your Sunday,
Karen

Great photos of two popular culture Christmas icons. I can't get over how tall that Grinch looks, and the costume fits so well, too. Good luck with the coffee routine. And I love that little trailer with the words/phrases on it although I don't have any idea what it means.

About the Beatles Monopoly, the pieces that you move are named for songs (Six custom pewter tokens including: The Walrus, Here Comes the Sun, Maxwell's Silver Hammer, Strawberry, Octopus's Garden, and Rocky Raccoon), the streets are named for albums, the railroads are tickets to four US concerts, and the utilities are two other venues. The houses are called Listening Parties and the hotels are Concerts. It's been so long since I played--I'm so glad that the instructions are so well-written. We left the whole thing out on the table, in case we decide to play some more tomorrow.

Good Morning Karen, Made me smile, after some cold and icy morning here
I would love to be there as it certainly looks warmer. 19 degrees here.

I love the photo, and great timing catching the Evil Grinch.

I have to wonder tho if that is real hair or a wig LOL.

Thanks everyone for your comments. Mr. Grinch was part of the festivities at the main downtown shopping area. I'm pretty sure that was a costume that kept him warm in the 50 degree temperature.
