Pet Parade

Attended the 10th Annual Redwood City Pet Parade this past weekend and saw a variety of costumed dogs. Like this little one dyed in pink.

And, this one in green.

Even this angel with or without the halo.

Busy pugs engaged in a sniffing frenzy.

I can't quite figure out what this getup is suppose to be.

Of course, a parade isn't complete without chickens. Surprisingly, no drooling dogs were following this float.

"Klepto the Cat" was the parade's grand marshal. Klepto made it onto the local news recently and even onto Animal Planet TV when he was unmasked as the cat burglar who foraged into neighbor's yards on a nightly basis to steal their belongings.
See Klepto in action on this video http://abclocal.go.com/kgo/video?id=7997043

Side Note: Thank you for coming back to read my blog. It has been a busy May and I took a longer break than anticipated.

Klepto looks like he can crash into your home anytime with those very penetrating eyes :) oh, those pink and green dogs are awesome, hope it was not painful for them to get colored.

The dyed dogs, and the udder dog, that's just wrong. Poor critters, I'm laughing at them.

I do not know whether the dogs will curse for being dyed in different colours.

They can't find themselves !!

Oh, those poor pets! Poor Klepto has lost every inch of his self-worth and there is a poor dog dressed up as a cow!! My pets would never, ever forgive me and they would certainly make me regret dressing them up like that.

Lina: Klepto had no idea what all the fuss was about. He was probably trying to squirm out and get ready for his next heist.

Betchai: He must hypnotize all his victims first with those eyes.

Yogi: Those crazy owners are giving their pets an identity crisis.

Rainfield61: If they don't look in the mirror, they might not know. Aren't dogs color-blind?

Life Ramblings: Thank you! What some owners go through to show off their pets. I hope the colors come right off.

Emm: You have a point. I wonder how the owners would feel if they got dressed up like that and get paraded around in public.

I have an overwhelming urge to hold down the owner of the colored dogs and spray paint his dumbass from head to toe and see how he likes it.
