Carnaval Parade
Over 70 groups participated in this diverse and colorful cultural event filled with music and dance.

If the truth be told, participants on the sidelines, including me, complained about the cold weather. After standing for over 2 hours, my fingers and toes became numb from the bone-chilling breeze.
At that point, I wished I was at home in a warm bed.

In all the pictures, you might have noticed people in the background standing on the outside ledge of their 2nd story window. I don't think I would stand there or just below them.

Love the colourful costumes. :)
Yeah, I wouldn't stand under them too.
What a grand day.
I wish i can be with you over there.
If you were cold it looks like the participants would be freezing.
Very colorful!
Lina: Lots of spectators were dancing along so one can get carried away from watching from the 2nd story.
Rainfield61: Lots of dancing & music and photo opportunities.
Yogi: I think the participants worked up a sweat by dancing the 2 mile parade route.
Sailor: One of the most colorful parades and attracts lots of photographers.
looks like a fun-filled and colourful parade! .
Wow I had to turn the color down bright bright bright, I'm with you on the balcony standing. They gotta be drunk.
I've been hearing a lot of complaints that it is chilly in your part of the world! At least in London we expect to be carrying around a cardigan and umbrella in June. Lovely, vibrant photos!
Emm: It has finally warmed up here. It was pouring rain last week and now it's hot. I always hear about the cold weather in London. It must be very similar to San Francisco's.
