Margaritaville

We ventured over to Margaritaville once we disembarked into Cozumel. It was the only place where we could find a free wi-fi signal. The cruise line charges an outrageous $0.50 a minute or $25.00 for 60 minutes.

Margaritaville is a restaurant/bar establishment. This is the interior at this particular location. The DJ sits inside the big shark to control the music and sound system.

I didn't get a chance to sit at the outside bar, but the bar seat is a swing. After a couple of drinks, you would sure to fall off.

Happy Monday,
Karen

Looks like that may be my first place to go after getting off a rocky boat.

I wasn't sure where the place is until I googled. I thought maybe Florida since it had to do with Jimmy Buffet. The swing is pretty funny!

As regards the swing - the song does say: "strummin' my 6 string, on my front porch swing"
He probably did fall off though - he just forgot! :-}

Outrageous indeed! I'm glad you made the stop at Maragritaville where you found the free wi-fi.

About the person crossing the street in the wheelchair on my blog, that is a crosswalk there, but I think the problem was that the wheelchair person started into the intersection too late, way to late, from the looks of things, especially if you notice the two cars that have already gone farther down the street, over to the left of the photo--one is red, and they're both a bit blurry from the motion. The Volvo, thank goodness, stopped as the wheelchair came into sight.

Love the is that jaywheeling comment!

Jim: You got that right to rest up the sea legs.

OregonArtGuy: That's funny. I didn't even think of the song and the correlation to the swing. I guess I was just wasting time in Margaritaville.

Neva: Of all the times I have been to Vegas, I had forgotten about the Margaritaville there. Thanks for the reminder.

Looks like a fun time you had, but $25/hr.? Holy cow!

I've only been in the Margaritaville in Key West...good burgers, of course! :o)
