The Franciscan Restaurant

Not far from the bakery on my last post, is the Franciscan Restaurant. Famous for its Dungeness crab, seafood cioppino, and fresh fish since 1957. With those big windows, the view must be spectacular.
If you are hungry, click here to see the menu.

This is the grand entrance into the restaurant.

Pictures of celebrities who have dined at the restaurant over the years are proudly displayed at the entrance. Do you recognize any of them?

That looks like a nice place to eat - and I suppose with the right kind of view from the table?

PS It was. The organizers of the conference we attended had got a special deal with the hotel, but for breakfast we went to an excellent Irish diner across the street...

I see Ellen....oh wait thats Robert Redford.

It looks like just entering the place makes you feel like you are going someplace special.

I saw Redford and maybe Kim Novak. Since 1957 is a long time for a restaurant to be in business. The food must be really good.
