Around the Bay Bridge

This is the San Francisco Bay Bridge which connects the city to the east side of the bay with Treasure Island in the middle. The fireboat on the lower left belongs to the San Francisco Fire Dept.

The view of the bridge from these residents' back windows is a little too close for me.

I happened to catch a flock of birds flying in formation over the bridge.

The Delancey Street Christmas Tree lot was getting ready to open for business. You can see the bridge in the background.

Thanks Andrea, I didn't realize there were so many B's otherwise I would've saved them for ABC Wednesday. :P There is also "building".

Hi Jim again. I have 2 lenses, the original 18-55mm which I love and the Canon EF 28-200mm.

Oh my goodness, that bridge sure does look different from when i was there many many yrs ago, Or maybe its cause i am older now and see it with different eyes. Love the geese flying over too.

Lilli & Nevada, I don't think the bridge has really changed. Perhaps you just need another visit down here to be sure. Haha!

I'm really enjoying all your pictures. I especially like the first one of the bridge.

I play this game called Big City Adventure San Francisco (http://www.reflexive.com/BigCityAdventureSanFrancisco.html) and in between levels it gives some info about SF. I was actually searching the net for SF pics and then, because of the pic of this bridge, I suddenly realised here I am. Gosh! I will see each and every pic on your blog, that's for sure.

Nice photos, the bay bridge always seemed so dull to me, but you have given it life in these images.

Hey Maddy, we're neighbors. Thanks for dropping by and commenting. Looking forward to reading your blog.

Thanks Dot. Glad to know you're enjoying the photos. It was fun playing tourist since I haven't really walked this area.

Hi Web-OJ, I'm not familiar with that game you mentioned, but I hope my photos will help you see what SF really looks like.

Thanks Oswegan, I prefer the Golden Gate Bridge myself. One of these days when it's warm, I gotta experience walking on that bridge. You can't walk on the Bay Bridge.

Thanks Fenix. From the building's roof, it looks like you can almost touch the bottom of the bridge. I guess the upper floor residents are insomniacs.
