Tree of Mystery in Klamath, CA is another stop along the way to Oregon on Highway 101. Paul is a little over 49 feet tall and Babe, the ox, is 35 feet tall. Believe it or not, Paul is interactive. If you ask him a question, he will answer back. I'm not sure where or who is in there controlling him, but it's a fun tourist stop. With the people out in front of it, you can see how big he really is. In the last picture, my dog is posing next to Babe.
They are huge, I remember seeing signs but my husband is not nearly as adventurous when it comes to tourist spots, I would have stopped for them all :) Maybe when the grand kids are bigger...

Sounds like a fun tourist stop, great shots. I really like Babe!
Info just as interesting as the subjects.
WOW, they're huge!!! And thanks for the added info...
Mines up as well at AussiePomm - Melbourne and a Footy Grand Final
Have a great day!!
Fun, and certainly worth taking a pic to post!
Great pose from your dog too!
They are HUGE! So many interesting and fun stuff to see in USA. Can't wait to go there.
I shall be a minute one if standing by Babe.

It's funny, I was thinking about Highway 101 towards Oregon. I've only been on 101 as far north as Mendocino County.
Also, my photo this week features a very different section of 101 :)
A very strange place, probably unique.
Greetings,
Filip
What a large monument! It's very fun to ride on them especially for kids. :)
OMG - I went there when I was like 12. and I STILL remember it. Such fun! and love the picture with your dog and Babe, hysterical.
Too cute!
Despite its humongous size! :)
