If I am not mistaken, that is the observation tower of the de Young? I like how you get the angles to line up so well.

That's very interesting an a lovely view. Can't imagine what the metal work is for (to prevent falling bodies from crashing into the glass- how macabre, um birds, that's still pretty bad How about framer work fro a hanging garden. that's much better :)

Catsynth: You guessed right, it is at the de Young tower! I just happened to come across the angle and liked it. Nice to see another San Franciscan blogger!

Sukhmandir: No falling bodies, but maybe to prevent birds from flying into the windows since the tower's 360 degree windows are from floor to ceiling.

That's a neat place. I like the perspective, too.

Interesting photo!

Love the perspective in the shot. Linear yet angular? Is that even the right term? In short, love the shot!

That's a really great view. It must be wonderful to actually be there. I like the way the picture came out. The awning at the top helps focus the vidsion to the far distance.

Thanks all for the visit and comments! If you are not a San Franciscan and happen to visit the San Francisco area, visit the tower of the de Young Museum and you can see the same view for free! :)
