Do You Tango?

Saw these unique looking all-electric vehicles called the "Tango" at the county fair last weekend. The car can seat 2 passengers, go from 0-60mph in 4 seconds, reach a maximum speed of 135mph, do lane splitting (2 vehicles side-by-side in a lane), perpendicular park, 2-hours charging time for a maximum of 200 miles with a Li-ion batteries, and they come in assorted cool colors.

If you are ready to order, one can be built for you in 8 hours from a kit. The price is a little steep at $108,000 US.

When I saw the first picture, I thought you had done some clever Photoshopping, but then I saw that it was real.

A bit stiff at the price, but it shows a way forward.

Thank you all for commenting. The concept is definitely moving in the right direction, but the price is too steep for the standard commuter. I believe when the price becomes more affordable, more people might consider giving up their existing gas guzzlers for one of these.

Really too steep for the majority of us. I don't know if I would feel very protected in such a tiny car.
Yes Karen, the picture was taken at Mono Lake. My Granddaughter really knows her way around a camera and was very serious about captureing interesting pictures.

well they are cute, but i surely wouldn't even try going the speed it says you can go. And wow the price tag is well way beyond my reach.
