Toothpick Art
He is, Scott Weaver, an artist and creator of toothpick sculptures like the hat he is wearing.
He doesn't just build toothpick structures, he builds them in such a way that you can roll ping pong balls through them from one end to the other.
What started as a school project in the 4th grade, it eventually morphed into this unique piece 36 years and 103,487 toothpicks later . His teacher would be proud.

Scott Weaver is really a creative artist.
never seen a hat like that before - i suppose toothpicks ae much the same as matchsticks - I've known a few matchstick modellers in my time.

gee, what very intricate work, must be a lot of patience and real hard work, beautiful pieces.
Wow, that's bloggable, as I would say to my wife.
Amazing...
Gracious how interesting. I have seen many things made out of toothpicks, but usually they are not artistically creative - most interesting post.
If you have the pictures, it means, you have seen it, isn't it amazing?
