Sometimes we just need a simple reminder to look both ways before crossing the street.
Although I'm not sure it will help those whose eyes are glued to their phones. We used to put phones by our ears, but now they are mostly used with our eyes.- Karen

Bonjour Karen,
j'aime bien le motif qui est peint sur la route. On est jamais trop prudent.Je sais que vous aimez les photos insolites, alors je vous invite à aller sur mon site où j'ai photographié un arbre peint en rouge : c'est original n'est-ce-pas !

Hi Karen,
I like the pattern is painted on the road. It is never too prudent.Je know you like unusual images, then I invite you to my website where I photographed a tree painted red: it is original is not it!

So funny!
Very confusing, should I look left or right.
Greetings,
Filip
very interesting shot, I agree, a lot of people these days are so preoccupied with their cell phone, looking at it :)
Christian: This is the first time I saw a sign painted on the street. I wonder if they have lots of accidents at this busy intersection.
Rainfield61: Maybe this is humor to make people pay attention.
Filip: This is a very busy intersection so look both ways. They should have more arrows to look forward and backwards too.
Betchai: I hope the sign helped some people.
Or should I just look down. XD
I doubt anyone would notice it. Too busy keeping our eyes on the mobile phone screen. :)
such a cute sign but it should have been bigger so anyone could notice it.
Very cute shot and yep, the guy who's crossing the street is looking at the phone and the guy driving down the street is also looking at the phone!
Ha ha, very true. Maybe these days we should all be wrapped in bubble wrap.
Maybe there could be an iphone app that buzzes whenever you approach a kerb.
Hah! That is cute. You are so right about people using phones with their eyes now. I wonder though, how many people are looking at that cute sign and not watching the road??
There seems to be quite a few car versus pedestrian accidents/fatalities in the San Francisco Bay Area in the last few years. Whether it is the fault of the driver or pedestrian, be mindful when crossing the street. Cell phone usage is illegal while driving here, but I still see people using them.
