I'm trying to figure out which classic story has both a toad and a bear?

It's a badger actually. XD
But the statue looked like a bear. ^^!

Great piece of public art. Looks like a scene from the Wind in the Willows...

Sukhmandir Kaur: It's always fun to discover these whimsical sculptures.

Colleen: Let us know what you see.

Cafe au lait: Thank you. Come back again!

Lina: It's a toad and a badger. :)

Catsynth: You might be thrown off by the "bear". It is actually a badger. It's the story from "Wind in the Willows".

Rainfield61: They are acting out a children's story from 1908.

Jidhu Jose: Thanks for dropping by.

William: You got it right, it is from Wind in the Willows!

Betchai: Me too, I'm sure it would be quite entertaining. I have never heard of the story. I will have to download it from Google Books.
