Mystery Lounge

I attended an Instagram-themed photo walk this past Saturday co-hosted by objectivescenes.com and Photojojo.com.
Photojojo let participants borrow their macro, fisheye, and telephoto smartphone camera lenses during the walk through San Francisco's Chinatown.
It was liberating not having to carry my heavy digital camera around for once.

I opted for the fisheye lens and took a picture of this old Chinatown bar, the Li Po Lounge. I am curious what is beyond those mysterious red doors.

If you are not familiar with Instagram, it is an iPhone photo sharing application.
If you use Instagram, feel free to Follow me at "avcr8teur" and I'll do the same for you.

Nice shot, very intriguing.

I am going to get an updated ipod touch just because of Instagram and other photo applications.

Yogi: Great! You're going to be able to take all those lomo shots. Also lots of other cool free photo apps to try.

I didn't know about Instagram! That is a very cool shot, I love those doors, and the building.

Such an interesting location for a shot! While I'd love to know what lies behind those doors, I would never be brave enough to enter alone.

Carol: Yes, if you have an iphone, you can take photos and share just like a blog. Not sure if the program works with non-iphones.

Life Ramblings: I read that to get to the lounge, you have to go downstairs. I bet it would be a fun place to photograph, but not alone.

Lina: I've only discovered recently myself. More pictures to explore.

A great idea. The round effect makes the door look like an Oriental hobbit home.
