It looks like a lot of effort went to each series. I am trying to figure out of the Klingons and the superheroes were at the same event...

Sukhmandir Kaur: I always wondered that myself. Some people do not want to be themselves all the time.

Catsynth: Very astute. They were at the same event. Mix and match genres.

Ash: Probably to be silly once a year; although, I know people who dress in costumes more often. Just adults who want to have fun.

Life Ramblings: I think people choose certain costumes to emulate a character they saw on tv, movies, books, cartoons, comics, ...etc.

Stevebethere: There are two Batmans and neither look happy.

Lina: There were other characters too. :)
