Inside Musee Mecanique, Part 1

In continuation of my Saturday post, here are a few of the odd coin-operated arcades inside the Musee Mecanique.

The instructions on this one reads "From a Roman legend: The one who dares putting the hand into this mouth must be sincere or the hand may not come out!"
Do you dare?

Put a coin in this one to see an English Execution. Violence for 25 cents (0.18 Euros), is it worth it?

It was strange to see these 2 movie machines side-by-side. Does one have anything to do with the other?

Which one do you think you are?

Enjoy,
Karen

I wonder how much money those machines made back in the day. They are all neat.

What funny things you find. Years ago in the bus stations they would have machines for weight and one that was supposed to give you pep. My mother told me never to get on it because all it did was give you a shock. Can you imagine such? lol

Don't you just love that place? Lots of fun and so many photo ops there.

Much more fun than the dreary machines they use now. They are only flashy lights and dreary noise. No fun at all.

They should have kept these.

The bocca one makes me think about one of my favorite all-time movies, "Roman Holiday." When Gregory Peck frightens Audrey Hepburn at the site of the legend, it's exquisite.
