Praying Mantis Eyeing Me Cautiously
I spotted this praying mantis sitting on my front gate the other day. It managed to stay put as I ran inside the house to grab my digital camera. It just stared intensely at me as I photographed it for several minutes. I did not stay too close for too long in case it decides to leap towards me.

I saw one of these not so long ago...I really don't remember them being this brown! Nice capture....it was good of him to stay put for you !
I think this is a neat capture that you got, i have seen the brown ones do they change colors do you know? Most i have seen are green
