Doggy Party Bus

Society Dog's pet & human transport

Interior of the Society Dog Bus

Pampered dog I saw over the weekend riding in its own transport

I took Maverick to a pet event to raise money for a future Humane Society location. The Society Dog Bus was there to transport people and pets between the event and their cars. I really wanted to get on the bus with Maverick to see what the interior was like, but when I was waiting in line, Maverick decided to "do his business". By the time, I got it cleaned up, the bus was already full and we missed our chance and I didn't want to wait until it came around again. The interior photo taken from their website looks really cool.

In any case, if I have a dog bus membership, Maverick and I can ride it to various local pet-friendly social events in the future. It's something worth investigating.

What a neat idea this bus is! I'm so glad you got the chance to share your photos and the one from the Web site with us.

well I must say I've never heard of anything like this in the UK

PS regarding the wind turbines not always turning -- it isn't necessarily lack of wind - they can be locked down when demand is low.

Wow, that sounds really cool and, that dog in the stroller is too cute. I pamper my dogs but, that's just top shelf treatment there.

It's all good, Maverick, when you gotta go, you gotta go" :D

Looks like a unique idea and dogs and owners would be happy to try this. I know I would. Cheers!

Lynette, I would love to travel on a big bus with my dog. Imagine all the places he would see.

Ackworth Born, Yep, it's someone's crazy idea of having a doggy bus. I'm sure pet owners love this idea. Why didn't I think of it? Regarding wind turbines - I thought they would just let them run freely in case the wind picks up to generate more power.

Scott/Chessnoid/Neva, I love to spoil my dog which I'm sure every pet owner does. There's already dog camps, pet stores, doggy daycares, now a dog bus. What next?

Looks liek found, wish they had something like this in my city.

Fedor, you're not too far from me. Maybe they'll start one up there too. If not, it sounds like a business opportunity. :)
