A Little Thief
It's been a busy week and I apologize for taking so long to post again. I'm currently in San Diego again and can't always get an internet connection.
Although my airline tickets were purchased well in advanced, I was wondering if it was a good time to go there with all the recent fires. Other than seeing lots of unusual haze while flying in, I didn't see anything out of the ordinary.

What a great picture of the bird.
The birds around my house like to target practise on my car after I wash it.
Trippen, I think birds only like to dive bomb clean cars.
Birds freak me out...especially those little feet- yuk...ok nice pics though :)
A rare picture taking opportunity and you made the most of it. Very cute!
I was going to comment on the burger until I saw the birds. It just goes to prove that the camera should never be far from our hands. Amazing pictures :)))
U stayed at that hotel? Wow, I wasn't that um... lucky when I was last in San Diego, we just visited and walked around the beach and took pictures and pretended to be guests, hehe. And my auto response on seeing bird thieves would be to SHOO SHOO, not reach for my camera.
The cheeky little devil! Fantastic photos though.
they look like starlings to me - they hang around with pigeons down town fighting for scraps.
The french fries look good though!
cheecky little devil!
Plain Jane, Birds are not my favorite either, but I just happened to have my camera on me and couldn't pass up the opportunity.
Kate, Thanks for commenting. I just happened to have the camera on me; otherwise, I would've have scared the bird away by trying to take it out. I'm curious what you wanted to say about the burger. It was pretty good.
Dot, it certainly was. But I think if you sit there long enough and "offer" the birds food, they will come around.
Deb, No I'm not stay at the Coronado Hotel. I'm just a tourist like most people here. I don't think I can afford staying here. Luckily I was finished with my lunch; otherwise, it would be to SHOO SHOO!
Thanks Ackworth for identifying the birds. I really can't tell one bird from the next. Those starlings are sure brave approaching strangers, but I guess they are used to foraging for food from unsuspecting tourists.
Neva, I think those cheeky devils liked my fries too. Luckily I was done with my lunch; otherwise, I wasn't likely to share.
Mike, thanks for your reply. I guess those cheeky devils thought I was easy target.
Thats pretty much what i was going to say, thats a nice looking burger.
