Skywatch Friday - Sutro Tower

Anyone who has been to San Francisco will have noticed this huge 977 ft. television & radio antenna standing prominently in the city's skyline.
You can visit or participant in Skywatch Friday.

I don't generally like radio towers too much but at almost a 1000 feet I have to love this.

Nice shot. I remember traveling up the coast N of SF and still being able to look back and see this tower. It's quite a landmark.

300 metres, that's pretty high up in the sky.

BTW, the blue sky is beautiful and refreshing.
