Friendly Greetings

We felt very welcomed during our first visit to Montana.
Mr. & Mrs. Bear even came out to greet us during a hailstorm.

When it stopped raining and hailing, a bear waved to us as we passed by.

This grizzly was a little grumpy being awaken by the loud thunder, but still willing to give us a sympathetic bear hug for enduring the bad weather.

This one was a little sad because business was slow so I went inside the store to look around.
I hope he had a smile on his face afterwards.

Pete swaggered up in roller skates and offered us some old-fashioned western hospitality by welcoming us inside his eating establishment.

When we were tired, the little cubs offered us their seats and entertained us with chats about their day.

And they will never get angry.

It's so Wild West out there! I would hate to meet a bear in the wild, in real life, though! :D

Bears everywhere! I would love to see bears in the wild. From a distance! Sounds like your summer holiday is as rainy as mine!

You've sure got cute, friendly greeting from those bears. LOL

But like Jenny mentioned, count me out from ever greeting a wild one! xD

cocomino: We were informed to be careful at night because real bears do come out sometimes.

rainfield61: These bears don't eat much and are well-trained.

betchai: These friendly bears will not bite or chase.

Jenny Woolf: The stores sold bear spray and the hotels distributed flyers with instructions of what to do if we did encounter a real bear.

lina: Yes, real bears won't look this cute up close. :P

llandudnopictures: Luckily we did not see any real bears.

Great shots of bears! The real ones are the best. Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment.

At first I want to say they are adorable, but why do I have a feeling that after awhile they became so common place they no longer held such "cuteness". Good for you for taking all of these - makes for a really fun post.
