I discovered this fellow close to our hotel in Hong Kong. I was carrying my camera too so we had something in common. But, he's more dedicated than I am to stand there day and night, rain or shine to get the perfect shot! :)

Wow, I wonder just how old that statue is (from the 60’s?). Look at the type of camera he’s holding!

How fun, he is so life like - well his clothes anyway - But that camera - wow - who would have thought something like that would date a piece of art work. Great Find!

I'd do a double take if I come across that statue.

And walk away fast if I pass by it at night. ;p

Thank you everyone for visiting and commenting! Like some of you, I had to do a double-take too before realizing he wasn't real. He could have been stationed here for a long time based on the older camera model. The color of his shirt is rather unique and it might even stand out in the dark so it would be creepy at night. You might say he could be an early version of the travel blogger. This statue was in the garden area by my hotel in Hong Kong. I will post two others in my next post.
