Random Encounters in Tainan City

Tainan City, located in the south-western part of Taiwan, it is the oldest and 5th largest city of this island nation.
Here are a few interesting things I encountered during my visit.

Large billboards advertising food.

A restaurant specializing in duck dishes, I assume.

Water filling stations?

Unique seats placed on the sidewalk.

Here is a close-up. I think they are really cute!

Alley way graffiti?

I tell you one thing. You were not in Oklahoma.

I love peeks into how other people live.

Neat sights. I can't decide if I like the robots in the water station or the Hello Kittyish chairs better. ^.^

LOL - love the seats and the graffiti, and heck even the duck is wonderful. Great shots of everyday things. Thanks for the different point of view.

The food signs are bigger than the shops! I wonder who put the seats up - do you think it was someone doing it privately or the local council? If the latter, then I can imagine the discussion in committee about which seats to get! The robot water filling stations were just mental.
Altogether a fascinating bunch of photos.
