Nice photo, I like the contrasting colors.
I was thinking of that pause at the door, too. I associate that more with visiting than with coming home.

I love the tension in the photo.

I love that image, so many things going through my head as to why it came to be. Is se waiting to be let in, too late for an appointment or too early and no one is there? So many possibilities!

Happy WW, thanks for stopping by :)

This picture can tell many stories and most them will be wrong! Maybe she just doesn't want to go home...

Add me to the list of viewers who see a multitude of stories behind this. Good eye!

Well it may be better to locked out than locked in. I'd probably pause before such a door for a moment too wondering what went on on the other side. I'd definitely need a rest if I had so many packages to carry.

Ooooh, I wonder if she'll get in?

Thank you everyone for stopping by and commenting! You all have such vivid imaginations. Her red clothing and headpiece caught my eyes as I was walking across the street. At first, I thought she might be a homeless person with those bags she was carrying, but soon after, someone opened the door for her. From what I could tell, she was visiting a friend.

It tells many stories. The different scenarios could be endless. It would be a great shot as the opening scene in a movie.
