As we sail on the Potomac River in Washington D.C., I see the Washington Monument jutting out from behind the miniaturized buildings.A group of rowing students share the river with us as we cruise by.This flaming red fireboat docked on the Potomac is named after the famous astronaut.A colossal quadrupled-decked ship for hire for your next party.- Karen

I am now visitng Potomac after leaving the chair behind.
Geez, I wish we have big river to row our boats or go cruising in SF. We have only Lake Merced which isn't that big. I didn't know the Washington Monument is such big structure.
body of water always calms me down, i love watching rowing too, it is a picture of great teamwork and coordination.
Karen that quadrupled deck ship looks so futuristic. I'd love to have a party on that :)
Rainfield61: Welcome to the Potomac. You can stand and watch as it goes by.
RoseBelle: I don't think I've ever been on Lake Merced. There's Lake Elizabeth in Fremont.
Betchai: The few times I've rowed was hard work. Teamwork & coordination indeed!
Poetic Shutterbug: Don't forget to invite me to your party.
Excellent pictures. I especially like the one with the Washington Monument.
