Seen on the Potomac

As we sail on the Potomac River in Washington D.C., I see the Washington Monument jutting out from behind the miniaturized buildings.

A group of rowing students share the river with us as we cruise by.

This flaming red fireboat docked on the Potomac is named after the famous astronaut.

A colossal quadrupled-decked ship for hire for your next party.

Geez, I wish we have big river to row our boats or go cruising in SF. We have only Lake Merced which isn't that big. I didn't know the Washington Monument is such big structure.

Karen that quadrupled deck ship looks so futuristic. I'd love to have a party on that :)

Rainfield61: Welcome to the Potomac. You can stand and watch as it goes by.

RoseBelle: I don't think I've ever been on Lake Merced. There's Lake Elizabeth in Fremont.

Betchai: The few times I've rowed was hard work. Teamwork & coordination indeed!

Poetic Shutterbug: Don't forget to invite me to your party.
