ReplyDeleteWhen I was living in Barbados I use to love coconut water and even the jelly inside is pretty tasty. Thankfully the guy's I use to buy them from use to cut the top off with a machete and give me a straw, or sometimes I would buy a litre bottle full of just the juice. Oh boy that was the life, so much better than fizzy drinks and it is good for you.

ReplyDeleteSo interesting and colorful. Yeah even with the husk off I have a tough time getting into a coconut.
ReplyDeleteOh lovely! I've never been to Jamaica before so I enjoyed seeing it through your eyes! I love coconut. I love chewing on the coconutty bits inside. I miss all the tropical fruits from South Africa - fruit is scandalously expensive in London.
