Tourist Attraction

Curio shops litter the touristy parts of town in San Francisco and statues such as this one try to lure customers in to buy something.

  1. What a waste of a perfectly good bench, someone chase these banana munchers up the nearest tree.

  3. They are so lovely. We have a carving of them at Tosho-gu shrine in Nikko city, Japan! Tosho-gu is very famous for carvings of these three monkeys and a sleeping cat.
    Well-captured.

  4. Ryan: I think those banana munchers are bolted to the seat. :D

Emm: You'll be busy for awhile.

    Y. Ikeda: Thanks for the information. I did not know that. I guess the 3 monkeys are not just American culture.

Could be a lot worse lol. Monkeys are usually fun.

  6. Canvas: It seems like almost every other curio shop on the street had one of these.

Toemail: Real monkeys probably couldn't keep still too long for this pose.
