I saw this interesting statue called "Man Observing II" by Viola Frey at a local museum. It's made of glazed earthenware, steel, and cement. I thought the shadow it casts was intriguing as well.

Love pictures with shadows and reflections. This is a great capture. Shows you were alert.
Sorry about the storms at your house. Hope all is well.
I love the shadow of the statue, great capture!
One might almost say that the shadow is more interesting than the statue...
Thank you for a nice comment!
Interesting indeed. Especially since from the front view, the man looks to be standing straight up, but from the shadow, he appears to be slumped over.
A very interesting statue! Love the shadow.
Very interesting contrast between the shadow and the figure. Its very colorful too.
This is very strange to me. How can he cast a shadow like that? lol. Really neat photo!
Thanks Andrea. The room was pretty dark except for the overhead lights so that's how I noticed the shadow. As for the heavy rains, we have been getting leaks in the lower floors. Probably cracks somewhere in the walls.
Jean/Dana/Neva/Dot, I think the way the spotlights that were situated overhead made the shadow look a little slumped over.
Runee/Photowannbe, Originally, I thought the colorful statue was interesting until I noticed the shadow.
That's a marvelous photo. I think the shadow adds immensely to the scene here.
Thanks Annie, that means a lot coming from someone who brings a camera everywhere. I agree with your comment about the shadow otherwise, it's just a statue.
the shadow is even more intriguing - looks so deep in thoughts...
Lovely pic. The shadow looks curious about something! :-)
