Over the summer, this artwork of a lotus flower by Choi Jeong Hwa was displayed in front of the San Francisco's City Hall. It was part of the Asian Art Museum exhibit from across the street. The leaves are made of fabric so it would sway in the wind like a real lotus flower. At night it would light up.
Nice, that could almost be at the state Capitol. Almost. I love the shot from behind.Nice city hall.
That a big fower but i don't recognise the city.Greetings,Filip

Beautiful and interesting compo. Hope to see more of the surrounding, perhaps more pics of it in your nest postings.
That is so beautiful! You know, my friend Mo from Fresh Eyes on London posted a really similar photo of a lotus flower exhibit outside the British Library in London. I really like the idea that this is an international initiative that you have both captured.
wow, the lotus definitely adds a nice touch to the city hall and its surrounding.
