Big Dog Vineyards
Upon driving up, you can see its vineyards growing on the hillside.
I believe the owners live in this house and the wine business is just their "hobby" as they have regular full-time jobs.
I asked about their dog who seemed to be in many of their pictures on their website, but unfortunately, was told Cab, their big beloved St. Bernard, passed away only a few days ago before my visit.
They offer wine tasting on the first weekend of each month from April through September.

i love going to vineyards though i don't drink wine, smetimes i wish they have grape picking instead :) beautiful scenery
Such a beautiful place, thanks for sharing with us. My largish-medium sized dog feels you could have found no better place to enjoy a glass of wine and a gorgeous day than Big Dog Vineyards! ;)

Life Ramblings: I'm not really a wine drinker, but did enjoy the scenic views.
Lina: They had outdoor tables by the winery, but no views. They should just move the seats to where drinkers can look out at the rolling hills.
Betchai: I'm with you, I don't drink wine although winemaking process has always been interesting.
Ruby Raiser: Lots of room for dogs to enjoy the day here too.
Ryan: I only tried 2 wines while I was there and I liked the Cabernet Sauvignon the best. I ended up buying a bottle for my friend.
