Great shot! Looks like a majestic place!
Appears to be a giant golden Buddha subtle without distracting details.
Majestic.
Carol: It is the Paramount Theater in Oakland, CA and placed on the National Historic Landmark in 1977.Sukhmandir: Haha, you have a vivid imagination. I originally thought it looked like an "Oscar" statue, but it's actually suppose to be a waterfall.Lina: Art deco majestic...
Nice shot of the Paramount. It's funny, I can sort of see the abstract-Buddha thing, too :)
An abstract Buddha was my first impressions. It sure is an impressive sight, the colours and design are kinda funky...espcially when the picture is enlarged.
I first thought it was a statue.
I also thought it was some sort of art deco buddha but when I magnified it I could see the waves in front of it.I liked the slogan underneath. "Always the best show in town."Very intriguing post today.
Very interesting, great shot.
Love the shot. I love abstract style photography and it is nice that many commenters see different things.
