Banana Slugs

An abundant of active banana slugs were foraging through the forest during my hike.
They are native to California and the Pacific Northwest for the foggy and moist weather.
They look like a banana, but I can guess they do not taste like one although people have known to eat them cooked.

I never see this slug before. And whether cooked or not, I guess I'll pass on this one.

Rainfield61: I'm not curious what one tastes like.

Con Artiest Trickster: I'm with you. I won't eat one even if it's fried in batter and dipped in butter.

Stevebethere: They look like some prehistoric creature in a way.
