I haven't seen one of those in so many Yeeeeeaaaaarrrrrssss, thought I was looking at an ornament :) I'm so thrilled we have word processors these days, the only thing worse than my typing is my memory that by the time I got done erasing my mistakes I would forget what I wanted to write in the first place LOL

Stevebethere: Years ago this was just a typewriter eraser and now it's called fine art. :)
Sukhmandir Kaur: I remember using it to erase and put a hole in the paper. I haven't seen one of these for years either. It could be a collector's item now.

Oilerblue: I think it was used for typewriting mistakes and not too many people use typewriters these days. I started using White-Out when these erasers left behind too many particles.
Catsynth: The sculpture doesn't seem to fit the skyline, but it certainly is unique.
Betchai: It was an eraser people used to use decades ago to erase typing errors on typewriters. The brush was used to remove all the little particles the eraser left behind. Now someone created a giant sculpture of it.

What the hell is a typewriter???
Ryan: Here's what the dictionary says a typewriter is... "a keyboard machine for writing mechanically in characters resembling print." Most kids born in the last decade or so probably never seen one.
