Local Pet Parade

Over the weekend, the community had a pet parade with a few interesting characters.
Here is one group on a sleigh powered by humans.


I did not expect a snake, but there was a boa constrictor.


A dog with lashes.


A Viking dog with bling.


And, would you believe a chicken. Actually, this was one of two chickens in the parade.

Horray for boa constrictors! It's a light-faced Colombian constrictor. We had one for many years. The spotted dog in the top photo is cute too.

The dog with the eyelashes is too cute. The boa constrictor? Not so much. Ewwwww! But I know someone loves it, so that's good.

If I attempted to put the Mads in a parade, they'd put me in the hospital. :) Right after they chased the chickens.

Looks like a fun parade. i love how we can make something out of nothing. Good stuff, especially the pink eyelashes on the pup.

Neva: I was just as surprised as you. Surprisingly, there were no cats.

AJ: I think that is the first time I've seen one on the streets too. Glad it didn't get loose.

Kathy: I agree, snakes make me squeamish. More so, if they are big.

Mad Cats: Really, you have some violent animals. As much as my dog love to eat chickens, he was more curious than vicious.

Adrian: Which dog? The one with bling or the one with glued-on lashes? Hehe!

photowannabe/Lilli & Nevada: It was a community parade so anything goes.
