Last month we took a cruise to the Western Caribbean. Unfortunately, the seas were so bad, we were only able to dock at 1 of our 2 ports. After 2 days at sea, we were so glad to see land and feel the ground. You can see the passengers streaming out of the ship. In this photo is our cruise ship docked in Cozumel, Mexico. Before we were able to disembark from the ship, we can see Cozumel in the distance. This is the "beach" by the port. It did not look too enticing to step into that marshy area.- Karen

Hi Karen - as always you have a great buch of shots - loved the overturned blue boat,The lighthouse, the plane in the wrong plac (I would like to use that pic on my blog some time if it's OK).
BTW - if you are still following me and others, you might want to check your "Manage Blogs" settings in BLOGGER - you have to reset them one at a time to "Public" so your avatar will show on others sites - talk with you soon,

That's one big rear end of a ship!
It is a big rear end now that you mentioned it. :) It was fun except for that queasy feeling from the rough sea and trying to walk straight while the boat yawed left and right.
I plan on doing a cruise in the next year or so. I have no idea how my body will react to being on water though.
You go to Mexico and I go to Vegas....hmmmmm....but I think I prefer Vegas over sea sickness! Nice shots.
Sorry the weather was so uncooperative. it really is a beautiful place or was...when we cruised there. That was before the devestating hurricane that made a mess of everything.
Hope your vacation was good anyway. Any cruise is good for me.
Come visit my Mazatlan blog to see a few photos I've snapped of cruise ships. From our terrace I can watch them arrive in the am and then leave in the late afternoon. It is amazing how they can turn on a dime!!
