Opened in 1980, the 236.7 meter high N Seoul Tower is one of the top attractions in the city. After being remodeled in 2005, the letter "N" was added to its title. I am not sure if the additional letter in its name was to signify "New" or the fact that its built on top of Namsan Mountain. In order to go up to the tower's observation decks, you will need to purchase a ticket for 7,000 Wons. This equates to about $6.34 U.S. or 8.74 Euros. This is the entrance to the tower. In order to go up, you must go down first to where the elevators are located. This is what the lobby looks like after walking through the entrance doors. A set of elevators are to the left which you cannot really see in this photo. On the glass, notice how tall this tower compares to others around the world.- Karen

Hi Karen,
I liked your post about the tower. It is interesting to see.
Great photos of tower. Can't wait to see more
Fascinating. I'm looking forward to seeing more posts about a country I know so little about.
What an unusual sight the tower is! Most fascinating also was the shiny floors in the last picture.
How interesting different places are. My daughter has been to Busan, Korea and stayed over night in Inchenon when she got bumped off the plane.....fun! Can't wait to see the rest of your photos....
