We spotted this sculpture by Max Heiges on the roadside of Highway 128 in Geyserville, California. Since it was not a very busy road, we parked to take a closer look. This piece and a handful of other artwork in the area are the brainchild of local businessowners Judy and the late Al Voight. Their foundation's vision is to promote art by placing sculptures in public places.

ReplyDeleteIt makes me think of a long ago toy set comprising bendy straws and connectors. Very cool. I'd love to see this just driving down a road one day.

Sukhmandir Kaur: The sign in front lists the artist's name and the name of the piece which is called "Run Home".
alp: I think it is cool too and the color makes it stand out.
