Skywatch Friday - Golden Weekend


Weather reports say we are going to have temperatures in the 70's and 80's starting tomorrow.
This is a shot of the Golden Gate Bridge from the San Francisco side.

If you live on the San Francisco side, you will have to pay at least $5 to cross the bridge. On a beautiful weekend day, expect hundreds of visitors to make their way up to the Marin Headlands to see this million dollar view.

    James: The bridge is 8,980 ft. (2,737 m) and quite a long walk when it's windy and cold.

    Indrani: I agree with you and if you walk across, it is free.

    Jackie/Jake: It's a good time now with the warm weather.

    cocomino: The round trip walk is 3.6 miles / 5.8 km. Some people live in San Francisco have never walked it!

    llandudnopictures: Lots of visitors almost every weekend, but more on nicer days.

    LondonLulu: I don't visit the city very often, but it's nice to see this when I do visit.

    I was on Angel Island on Saturday, amazing views from there as well, and yes it was really, really hot.
