These are photos from the Reno Balloon Race taken on Sept. 8th. The early morning "glow show" and "dawn patrol" starts around 5a.m. in the dark. They return back to earth and more balloons launch around 7a.m. The whole show is over by 8:30a.m. and we returned back to our hotel for a nap.
I remember waking up early with my Dad to go see the hot air balloon show as a kid. It was always so much fun to spend special time with him, and the view was the best. Thanks for the memories.
