Vasona Lake Park Bridge
Even during this overcast day, this brightly colored bridge illuminates the center of Vasona Park in Los Gatos, CA (approximately 50 miles south of San Francisco).
A popular place for photographers and joggers alike.
Even pigeons use it as a place to get a "birds-eye" view of the people below.Have a nice weekend!

ReplyDeleteFilip: I could not find anything about when the bridge was built, but I did read somewhere that in the early 1900's the area was named "Vasona" after a pony a local resident had as a young boy.

Betchai: During the Christmas holidays, this park is decorated in festive lights. So the green and red is perfect all year round.
EastCoastLife: Humans and wildlife flock to this area on weekends.
They have a "birds-eye" view.

ReplyDeleteSeemingly if a pigeon poops on you, that is meant to be lucky! Last week I was sitting on the tube and I smelled a disgusting smell coming from my arm...a piegon had crapped on my arm...I felt so lucky!
This bridge is somewhat different from the image what I've used to, though not in large size, it is particular.
