Do you have a good sense of direction? Both hummingbird and compass says the wind is blowing towards the north during a cold and overcast day in San Francisco.
That is quite lovely! I have a soft spot for weather vanes as they featured prominently in Enid Blyton's books, if I remember correctly. In any event, they remind me of my childhood. Lovely photo.
