Not far from the pedestrian bridge I posted last, is this wooden plank bridge surrounded by lush greenery and follows a creek below. If you are standing still on the bridge and someone walks by, you will experience a tiny bouncing sensation. Hmmm, I wonder what would happen if lots of people walked by at the same time.
Gosh, this is an amazing shot! The perpective and composition are perfect! (I so love learning a little bit about photography so that I can marvel at other people's skills!)
I just can't resist walking trails.
ReplyDeletethen I think of resonance frequency.
ReplyDeletei love wooden bridges, reminds me of growing up as a kid..
ReplyDeletethe bouncing part when someone walks by in that bridge sounds scary though, i hope its not falling apart coz looks really nice over there

i sure hope the bridge is steady and strong enough to support the weight of many people.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what would happen if all those joggers ran across it at the same time. Remember the wooden bridge scene in Indiana Jones?
ReplyDeletei love pictures like this, so inviting to take a walk on that bridge. hope it is able to stand many people, i love walking on swaying bridge :)
ReplyDeleteYogi: I can't blame you. With the windy wooden trail, one is just curious to see what is at the other bend.
ReplyDeleteRainfield61: That sounds like engineer talk. :D
Life Ramblings: The bridge is fairly new so I think it is strong and maybe even earthquake proof for California.
Ryan: I remember that Indian Jones bridge, but this one is a little more sturdier and can hold a herd of runners.
Betchai: Luckily, this bridge doesn't sway, just bouncy. If it swayed, I would have to hold on to the rails. :D
I wouldn't want to be there with alot of people walking about, bouncing :D It's a beautiful bridge though.
