Love it! I've been listening to JayZ & Alicia Key's Empire State of Mind song since yesterday so yeah, what a coincidence! Thanks for sharing! Happy Wednesday to you from Malaysia! :)
Hop on over to check out my Ben peeking back at you! http://imafulltimemummy.blogspot.com/2010/06/wordless-wednesday-ben-peeking.html
I guess it depends the mood of people when they see this sign. It could serve as a reminder to appreciate and love what they have or it could serve as a nasty reminder of love gone wrong.

ReplyDeleteSo cool, Karen. We should have one like that here out in the Haight :D
ReplyDeletevery interesting sign Karen, is this for the Love album?
ReplyDeleteWhen doing research for this post, I learned there are a number of these LOVE sculptures by Robert Indiana all over the world.
ReplyDeleteThe first one was sculpted out of a block of aluminum in the 1960's. Sorry, I don't know about the design on an album.
It definitely doesn't hurt to have a big sculpture to remind us of love. If only they could have one in each city.
Aaaah, I love New York City! I'd give everything up just to move there tomorrow.
