How many of you remember the Flintstones cartoon? It was one of my favorites as a kid.
During our trip back from the Grand Canyon, our tour bus made a stop across the street from the Flintstones Bedrock City Campground. We only had a 20 minute break so my husband convinced me to run across the freeway with him, yes a freeway, so we can take some photos of this unique place.

I have always wondered about the taste of the dino-burgers...
ReplyDeleteThank you for the comment!
Yabba dabba do! I did love the Flintstones cartoons when I was a kid. Heck, I would still watch them if I saw them on!!
ReplyDeleteHey Karen, I'm glad you ran and made it back safely. Good pics of a fun looking place. Flintstones was one of my favorite cartoons too.
ReplyDeleteHi Karen! I've missed you! For some reason I thought you had quit blogging and I took you off my bloglines. That will teach me!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you have been to some fun places. Looking forward to more of your pictures.
Splendid return on your effort!
ReplyDeleteAbout my photo today, I took it a few weeks ago while outside at lunch, for a walk. I am blessed to have unique stuff in every direction. If I run out of it on the east side of the river, I can hope a bus and head west at lunch time, too.
Glad to hear I wasn't the only Flintstone fan. Dino was my favorite.
ReplyDeleteThis would be my kind of place. I remember cross country trips as a kid. There was a place in NM or AZ, I cant remember now, but it was where the filmed F-Troop. It was one of my fav stops.
ReplyDeleteOh we have passed this one before and always wanted to stop and spend the night
