K is for Kayaks and Kangeroo on ABC Wednesday

Tourists or San Franciscans alike can rent these kayaks or use them on scheduled city kayak trips. Instead of falling asleep on a boring tour bus, you can have some real hands-on adventure such as kayaking under the Bay Bridge or catching a homerun ball out of AT&T Park. More on their scheduled tours, click here. No kayak experience required.
Here is a kangaroo sunning himself or herself at the San Francisco Zoo. Kangaroos are primarly found in Australia, but they can be seen in Tasmania and New Guinea. They have a long, thick tail used for balancing and enlarged hindlegs for jumping. This one looked quite content watching all the humans walk by.Please visit

ReplyDeleteInteresting animals
Now I feel dumb....
ReplyDeleteI have couple good photogprahs about kayaks in sea, rapids, shoreline and what do I do, when K comes up in ABC Wednesday. Instead of using something from last summer or summer before that, I go all the way to 2004 and take photograph about Kilimanjaro. Oh well, I guess I better start thinking about L, so that I can come up with something clever in next week.
Do like the Kangaroo!
