K is for Kayaks and Kangeroo on ABC Wednesday

Tourists or San Franciscans alike can rent these kayaks or use them on scheduled city kayak trips. Instead of falling asleep on a boring tour bus, you can have some real hands-on adventure such as kayaking under the Bay Bridge or catching a homerun ball out of AT&T Park. More on their scheduled tours, click here. No kayak experience required.

Here is a kangaroo sunning himself or herself at the San Francisco Zoo. Kangaroos are primarly found in Australia, but they can be seen in Tasmania and New Guinea. They have a long, thick tail used for balancing and enlarged hindlegs for jumping. This one looked quite content watching all the humans walk by.

Please visit Mrs. Nesbitt's Place blog for additional ABC Wednesday photos.

    Now I feel dumb....
I have couple good photogprahs about kayaks in sea, rapids, shoreline and what do I do, when K comes up in ABC Wednesday. Instead of using something from last summer or summer before that, I go all the way to 2004 and take photograph about Kilimanjaro. Oh well, I guess I better start thinking about L, so that I can come up with something clever in next week.
